Filtering Fields in a Report
Sometimes you may need to omit data in a report according to a certain criteria. In order to do so, you
can filter the fields that appear in the report, as explained in Filtering Fields on page 37.
Filters defined for reports can not be saved. In filtered reports, although some records are filtered out,
the “total” line calculates the totals as if those filtered records were part of the report.
Sorting Fields in a Report
You can arrange data in a report according to a particular criteria. Refer to Sorting Fields on page 37
for more information.
Sort criteria can not be saved with a report.
Magnifying a Report
Generated reports can contain a lot of data that may be difficult to see on screen. You can change the
magnification of a report to display more or less information without scrolling.
To magnify a report, open a report, click Tools > Zoom, select the magnification you want to use, and
click OK.
Printing Reports
There are three ways to print a report from a template: from the Open window, manually, or by
scheduling the report to be automatically generated and printed at a later time.
Before printing a report, click File > Printer Setup to identify your printer.
If your report is in PDF format and prints with an extra blank page for each page printed, change the
scaling settings for your printer. Refer to your Windows documentation for information about
completing this procedure.
Printing a Report from the Open Window
Printing a report from the Open window allows you to print a report without having to open the
template. This method is useful when you have a template in which you have already specified the
parameters, and if required, customized it with the data fields and look that you want.
Complete the following steps to print a report from the Open window:
1. In Contact Center Reports, click File > Open or click the Open Existing Template icon on the
toolbar.
2. In the Open window, select the appropriate template, and then click Print.
